Continuous Open Funding
Our unique and transparent pathway for ocean ecosystem protection and restoration projects to secure financial support.
Our Core Values
Data integrity and transparency are our core values and the key enablers for accelerating impact projects!
How Projects Get Funded
Applicants submit a "Project Intention" outlining a problem within the ocean ecosystem (pollution, ecosystem damage, lack of topic data).
The applicant provides a problem statement, a resolution objective with expected outcomes, and appoints project partners with proven capabilities and/or references.
References can be from previously executed similar projects, while capabilities can refer to academic or professional backgrounds.
For technical solutions, we require at least Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 proof of concept (i.e., lab-validated feasibility).
Properly filed project proposals undergo a validation process.
Our evaluators validate the topics and solutions proposed, and assess the project partners' references and capabilities.
When the project proposal checks all the boxes, a 30-minute Q&A call is planned with the ultimate target to onboard the application.
Once acceptance is reached, we can proceed to configuration.
At this final step, the project signs up to our delivery charter. Data infrastructure and financial accounts are configured, and the project becomes eligible to receive funding.
Our sales team actively reaches out to funds and corporate sponsors to finance the selected impact actions. Once funding is secured, projects are compensated as they report progress and milestones, providing sponsors with real-time verifiable credentials, finally landing into audit-ready impact reports for seamless inclusion in corporate sustainability accounting.
